Credo EV 900 Reference

"When I started listening to this speaker, the thing that jumped out right away was the imaging. The imaging was extremely coherent, it had great depth and focus and it made more sense. The imaging was more real, more complete in it's depth and in it's space...even height. It just seemed right.

This was one of those reviews that stretched out because I was really have a good time. I showed these speakers no mercy. I played these speakers not realistically loud, but plenty loud and they could take it! The impact of those big drums was really, really amazing. The EV900 was bringing it back alive....definitely a thrill. 

The tweeter is really good, it's one of those tweeters that doesn't call attention to itself. It's clean, it's clear....but it's not sparkly or bright. 

With the right recording, this speaker can show off the mid range like few can. It's an expensive speaker....no doubt about that. But it sounds like one. For the right kind of audiophile...with the right room and the right partnering electronics....it's the one. It's definitely worthy of your consideration."
